No shoes, no phone, no TV, no Internet, no problem. That's the thinking at Petit St. Vincent, an unspoiled paradise in the southern Caribbean surrounded by white sand beaches with gently rolling hills and tropical woodland.

It is the southernmost island in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, 40 miles (64 km) south of St. Vincent. The entire island operates as a luxury resort, with 22 one and two bedroom cottages and villas. It has been a part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World hotel chain since July 2013.

The way you get the staff's attention is with flags; hoist up the yellow flag to let them know you need room service, transportation somewhere or have some other request, and let the red flag fly when you just want to be left alone.

The principle gateway to Petit St. Vincent is Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) in Barbados. With direct international flights same day arrival is possible from most points in the Americas and Europe.
